l. When shipping by major VAN LINES, we personally uncrate and inspect each piece of merchandise before the Van Lines pick it up. The Van Lines will blanket wrap the furniture, set up, and place the furniture in your home. In the event of damage, all claims are handled directly with the Van lines who have insurance to cover the claim.

ll. When shipping by COMMON CARRIER, the furniture is picked up at the store and delivered to you in the carton. Each piece has been factory inspected, but may need some minor touching up. We do not anticipate any major problems, because we carry only fine furniture. In case of damage or shortage, all claims must be filed with the delivering carrier.

lll. Individual CUSTOMER PICK-UP is also acceptable with Home Furnishing Company & Interiors, Inc. However, out of state residents would be subject to South Carolina Sales Tax. Presently, all out of state shipments made by van Lines, or Common Carrier are exempt from South Carolina Tax.

lV International shipping by container only. All Shipping costs are the clients responsibility.

Special orders:

It is our policy on all special orders to require a 1/2 deposit with the order and the balance payable when the merchandise is in stock ready to ship. We accept cash, personal checks or money orders.
